Philip Caine’s career began in hotel management, providing him with valuable experience in hospitality and operations before he ventured into the challenging environment of the North Sea oil rigs, where he spent fifteen years managing complex logistical demands.

Following this, his career took him to North and West Africa for two years, further broadening his international experience. Subsequently, Philip spent seven years working across the former Soviet Union, primarily in Kazakhstan and Russia, deepening his understanding of diverse cultures and challenging working conditions.

In 2003, Philip embarked on an entirely new chapter, moving to Baghdad to operate multiple accommodation bases for the American Military. His decade long tenure in the Middle East immersed him in an intense environment that provided rich, first hand experiences and compelling narratives. These experiences became the foundation and inspiration for his novels.
